[Real Madrid](https://www.managingmadrid.com) superstar Jude Bellingham is one of five nominees for La Liga’s Player of the Month award for December, the league officially announced on Friday.
The other nominees were [Atletico Madrid](https://www.intothecalderon.com)’s Antoine Griezmann, Barcelona’s Raphinha, Athletic Club’s Oihan Sancet, and Las Palmas’ Sandro Ramirez.
Bellingham has had a fantastic December so far, as he became the first player since Karim Benzema in 2014-15 to score in six consecutive La Liga match days, with most of those goals coming in December.
He has been important for Real Madrid’s successes this season, as he has easily been their best and most important player in La Liga in Vinicius Jr’s absence.
He has scored four goals and two assists in December, and has contributed when it mattered most.
Bellingham would look to win the award for the third time in his career, right after fellow teammate Vinicius Jr was presented the award for November just a few days prior to the Englishman’s nomination.
Real Madrid midfielder Arda Guler was also named as a nomination for La Liga’s best U23 player of December.
