FC Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick will make a big call when it comes to choosing the team that will host Atletico Madrid for a top of the table clash in La Liga on Saturday night in Spain.
Diego Simeone's side is the best in the land at the moment, and boasts 11 straight victories putting it level on points with Barca with a game in hand.
Simultaneously, however, it's worth noting that the world class coach has never managed to beat the Blaugrana on its own turf during his 13-year reign spanning more than 700 matches.
At a prematch press conference on Friday, Flick said that the fixture of the weekend is a "great game" that will see the Catalans "play against one of the best in La Liga".
"Today we are first in La Liga and second in the Champions League. We lost some points and it was tough in the last game against Leganes and Las Palmas," the German said, about recent shock home losses to supposedly inferior opposition.
"There's respect for them. In football, the team that makes the least mistakes wins. It happened and we must accept it. I can say it, we always have a young team and we have to improve. We are fighting until the end of the season. Here's what we'll do. We know it won't be easy. We must start fighting to play against Atletico," he demanded.
As well as trying to go three points clear at the summit, Barca is also laboring not to make it three defeats on the trot in its temporary home, which is the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys in Montjuic.
Inaki Pena will start in goal, and has a back line of Alejandro Balde, Inigo Martinez, Pau Cubarsi and Jules Kounde in front of him.
As part of a 4-3-2-1, Marc Casado is the pivot propping up midfielders Dani Olmo and Pedri.
In attack, Flick unfortunately won't be able to call upon Lamine Yamal, who's out injured for the rest of 2024 at least, which means he is forced into making a huge call on a topic that has been widely-debated in the build up to matchday.
That will be put to bed by Ferran Torres directly replacing the 17-year-old on the right wing, as Raphinha continues to man the left while they provide support to striker Robert Lewandowski.
