Uncertain times may lie ahead for some at Everton following the arrival of The Friedkin Group on Thursday.
Everton fans will naturally be incredibly excited to see their new owners finally through the doors at Goodison Park.
And The Friedkin Group have already met with Sean Dyche where it is believed Marc Watts has shared his support for the 53-year-old.
However, the Toffees are not in a position which anyone at the club would like them to be in as they go into the weekend slumped in 16th spot.
With speculation surrounding the future of Kevin Thelwell as the Everton director of football, Dyche has shared his honest thoughts on the decision needing to be made.

Sean Dyche wants the Friedkins to keep Kevin Thelwell at Everton
Dyche and Thelwell have now developed a solid relationship having worked together for over a year on Merseyside.
And the January transfer window could see Everton provide some surprises as The Friedkin Group get their first chance to add to the side.
Speaking in his Friday press conference, Dyche told the media he would like to see Thelwell handed the chance to help turn around this Everton side.

“I think he’s a good operator, his history would suggest that. I get on well with him and we’ve both been realistic with the challenges and sometimes you take some heat for that but the reality is still the reality,” he said.
“I think we’ve stayed steadfast to the challenges in front of us whether it’s financially or whether it’s getting the players in who are appropriate to try and mould us into a better unit, whilst not break the bank.
“It’s a tough challenge, recruitment is a tough challenge. And he’s had to play his part without a doubt.”
Since the takeover, it has been suggested The Friedkin Group will back Thelwell in the January transfer window.
But the big question comes as to whether – like Dyche – the Everton chief will be offered a future beyond his contract ending in the summer.
Kevin Thelwell has made some questionable Everton signings
Although it has to be recognised Thelwell and Dyche have both been working under restricted conditions, it has not been a stellar recruitment drive.
Everton are expected to be hit by PSR once again in January, so it will be interesting to see what the Toffees can do next month in the window.
With Dyche and Thelwell both out of contract at the end of the season it may well be a case of just steadying the ship and keeping Everton up.
And the new owners have reportedly been eyeing change with The Friedkin Group interested in Fabio Paratici in potentially replacing Thelwell.
