Chelsea travel up to Merseyside to take on Everton this weekend, and that’s a trip that hasn’t treated us too kindly in recent years. While we did win there in 2022, that’s our one and only win in our last seven visits, with five defeats and just two goals scored in total.
If we are to change that narrative, we’re going to need some top performances in all phases of the game. Thankfully, we do have most everyone available.
Among the handful of players not available are long(er)-term injury victims Reece James, Wesley Fofana, and Benoît Badiashile, as well as Roméo Lavia, who appears to have suffered a minor setback this week. Also missing are Marc Cucurella, who’s suspended for a match after his silly sending off after the final whistle last weekend, and Mykhailo Mudryk, who’s on provisional suspension from all things football are testing positive in a routine drugs test for a banned performance-enhancing substance.
Choose wisely.
