The future of numerous Everton players will now be coming under serious scrutiny following the takeover earlier this week.
After a jubilant couple of days on Merseyside, Everton will start to turn their attention on to the task at hand this weekend.
The Friedkin Group will be watching Everton at Goodison on Sunday as they look to turn their season around and fend off the threat of relegation.
Fans will be aware this is not going to be an instant fix from The Friedkin Group with some glaring issues needing to be resolved.
One of the players who fans will want to keep around is Jarrad Branthwaite and the defender has just shared his hopes for 2025.

Jarrad Branthwaite shares 2025 ambitions at Everton
Everton have 13 players who are out of contract in the summer which will offer the chance for a major overhaul in the side.
Although the centre-back is not one of them, Branthwaite is being eyed by Premier League clubs ahead of the summer transfer window.
But he has told Sky Sports that he is only focused on returning to his best after admitting he has endured a frustrating few months.

“At the minute it’s [being] injury free, play as many games as I can till the end of the season,” he said.
“Just get my fitness back and get back to where I was last season. It’s been a frustrating start of the season with the injuries and things, but I think at the minute, I’m on the right track and hopefully get back to where I was.”
Sean Dyche did question Branthwaite’s fitness earlier in the season, but the centre-back is now putting games together as he works towards his goals.
Branthwaite is now back up and running at Goodison and fans will be wanting to see him help lead the club to better things.
Should The Friedkin Group cash in on Branthwaite?
Everton are expected to be hit by PSR in January with their ability to spend under their new owners set to be limited.
The extend of Everton’s PSR struggles is not yet known with Dyche remaining tight-lipped during Friday’s press conference.
Selling a player like Branthwaite would likely clear the PSR concerns on Merseyside and offer Everton a fresh start under the new owners with money to spend.
Branthwaite is expected to push for a big move as he targets playing for one of the top clubs in Europe.
And if a club like Real Madrid was to come in for him, it would potentially offer Everton very limited options over keeping their star defender as other clubs have experienced in the past.
