In 11 days’ time, the 2025 winter transfer window opens up for clubs in Spain. There is bound to be plenty of activity, but one club that will almost certainly be dormant is Barcelona.
Currently, the Catalan giants are working to ensure that Dani Olmo and Pau Victor can be registered for the second half of the season, as both players are only set to be on La Liga’s books until the 31st of December. The club’s well-documented financial woes makes it very tough, and as such, this is also why transfer activity will not be considered.
As per [Sport](https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/deco-toma-decision-mercado-enero-112820834), Barcelona have decided that there will be no incomings or outgoings during January. The stance that head coach Hansi Flick and sporting director Deco have agreed upon is that no one can be brought in because of the financial woes, while no one can leave because they will all be needed, regularly of squad status.
[Barcelona](https://www.football-espana.net/category/la-liga/barcelona) would ideally love to sign in January, but it is not possible. As such, it makes sense that no one can leave either.
