Manchester City Women are travelling to Abu Dhabi for a warm weather training camp during the Barclays Women’s Super League winter break.
Gareth Taylor’s side will set off on Thursday 2 January, returning on 9 January ahead of our FA Cup fourth round clash with Ipswich Town that weekend at the Joie Stadium.
On Sunday 5 January the players will also take part in an Open Training session at 321 Hudayriyat Island, set to get under way at roughly 17:00 (GST).

Before then, however, girls aged 3-18 living in the UAE are welcome to train with City Football Coaches from 15:00-16:30 ahead of watching the players as part of a wide range of activities on offer to spectators.
Keep across our channels for more information on how to attend Open Training and take advantage of other exciting activities, including signing sessions and player interviews.
City go into the Christmas break second in the WSL table having also qualified for the knockout stages of the UEFA Women’s Champions League, beating European champions Barcelona along the way in our Group D opener.
But now the Blues will have an opportunity to rest and recover heading into 2025, when our League Cup and FA Cup campaigns get under way.
As well as getting back to full fitness following that well-earned Christmas break, the squad will also have opportunities to sample some of Abu Dhabi’s cultural offerings and activities.
The best bits from the trip, both on and off the pitch, can be enjoyed on our social channels as part of a short daily diary, which will also be available on mancity.com and the official Man City app.
