Glasner makes two key changes, 25-year-old returns - Predicted Crystal Palace starting XI v…

Crystal Palace will be looking to bounce back to winning ways when they take on Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday at Selhurst Park.

The Eagles lost 3-2 in the previous game against the same opponent in the Carabao Cup clash in midweek.

Only a few weeks ago, Palace were struggling badly in the Premier League, and it was speculated that Oliver Glasner could lose his job.

Since their 2-0 defeat against Fulham in November, the Eagles are undefeated in their last five league games, winning two of them.

The improvement in results has coincided with the return of several key players from injury, and it can get even better when Adam Wharton returns to the side.

However, for this game, Palace will have to do without Eberechi Eze.

Glasner told reporters on Friday: “We have no one back yet, but we do have one more injury: Ebs is unavailable.

“He got a hit against Brighton on his foot. He played with quite a swollen foot at the Emirates and also got the next kick there, so he is not 100%.”

Dean Henderson has been brilliant in goal this season, and Palace will need a big performance from him against the Gunners.

Maxence Lacroix was superb in the 3-1 win against Brighton & Hove Albion, and he received rich praise from Alan Shearer.

Marc Guehi and Trevoh Chalobah should start alongside Lacroix at the back.

Daniel Munoz is suspended for this game after picking up five yellow cards. Caleb Kporha is an option, but Glasner could go with Nathaniel Clyne for this game.

In midfield, Will Hughes and Jefferson Lerma should continue, while Tyrick Mitchell should retain his place on the left-hand side.

Ismaila Sarr and Jean-Philippe Mateta should continue. Glasner said he would use either Daichi Kamada or Eddie Nketiah in place of Eze.

Nketiah, 25, scored in the previous game, so he should be bubbling with confidence. Glasner spoke highly of him in the press conference, and the former Arsenal striker could impress against his old club.

Predicted Crystal Palace XI v Arsenal: Henderson, Lacroix, Guehi, Chalobah, Clyne, Mitchell, Hughes, Lerma, Sarr, Nketiah, Mateta.
