At the same time, Roma had already contacted Allegri after Ivan Juric’s sacking, but the Italian tactician thought it was not the right time to join the club.

If Allegri doesn’t shake hands with any other club, Roma directors will resume talks with his agent and friend Giovanni Branchini in the coming weeks.

Juventus sacked Allegri this past May, and the Italian tactician has also been linked with Milan and West Ham.
