Callum Marshall has made three West Ham United players look silly after what he did for Huddersfield Town on Friday.
The 20-year-old is spending time away from the London Stadium this season, gaining valuable first-team experience under his belt on loan at Huddersfield.
It has not all been smooth sailing for the Northern Ireland international, with Terriers boss Michael Duff demanding more output from him recently.
Marshall, though, is showing his ability to take criticism on board, bagging three goals and an assist in Huddersfield’s last two games and raising questions over a few Hammers seniors in the process.
Fullkrug, Ings and Antonio will be embarrassed after what Marshall did away from West Ham
Two of those goals and the assist came in Huddersfield’s 4-0 thrashing of Cambridge United in the League One on Friday, 22 December.

For context, Niclas Fullkrug, Danny Ings and Michail Antonio have managed just a goal each in the league this season.
In short, Marshall beat each of West Ham’s senior strikers’ goalscoring tally in the league in a single game.
One fan summed up the Irons’ goalscoring woes perfectly, reacting to the youngster’s brace for Huddersfield on X: “Get him back. Seniors can’t manage two!”
Goalscoring is proving to be a headache for Julen Lopetegui at the London Stadium, especially after Antonio’s unfortunate road traffic accident, but recalling Marshall from his loan does not appear to be on the cards for the time being.
Nevertheless, the left-footed striker’s performance against Cambridge United is a reminder for the likes of Fullkrug and Ings.
Jarrod Bowen, who has led the line for Lopetegui’s side in Antonio’s absence, is not free of criticism as well, having netted just four goals this season.
In other West Ham news, the Irons have been named as suitors for this Serie A star in the January transfer window.
