The Blues did everything they could in order to sign Osimhen. But, nothing materialized which saw the Nigerian striker join Galatasaray on loan. Osimhen is expected to be back in transfer market once the window opens.
Chelsea are still keen to add Osimhen to their already strong attacking unit. Christopher Nkunku is very close to Chelsea exit which will open up space. But, now the Blues have been joined by their Premier League rivals.

Osimhen is highly experienced and he will directly be an upgrade on any of the current United attackers. He has proved himself in the recent seasons with different clubs. This season, he already has 10 goals and 4 assists in 14 games for Galatasaray.
Chelsea will not give up on Osimhen without a fight. They were involved in talks with the player this summer so they are expected to have good relation with him. The 25 year old surely has no future at Napoli as they have already signed Romelu Lukaku.
Lastly, the Blues have also shown interest in many other strikers. Recently they have been heavily linked with Sesko once again. As for the Red Devils, they also have their sights Randal Kolo Muani.
