Arsenal have been linked with Barcelona star Jules Kounde. The player is said to be ready to move to Premier League. The Spanish giants consider the player a key star and hence will try to prevent this deal from happening.
Arsenal do have a very good defensive unit right now. They have versatile players who are in their peak years of career. Gunners had the best defensive record last season in Premier League. This summer they added Riccardo Calafiori who has lifted their defence to next level.

Lastly, some Arsenal stars are expected to leave the club at the end of season. As of now, Tierney, Kiwior and Zinchenko have all been linked with away moves. This will need attention as Gunners prefer to maintain sufficient depth at the squad.

Recently, Jules Kounde has caught attention of the North London club. In addition, El Nacional report that they are plotting a €40 million bid to sign him. The report also adds that the player is open to move to Premier League.

Kounde has been one of the key stars for Barca in recent years. In addition, he has been extremely important for Hansi Flick this season. The 26 year old has played 24 games this season and has registered 1 goals and 6 assists. Hence, the Spanish star will make it very hard for any interested club to sign Kounde.
