Aston Villa defender Matty Cash has put in a dismal first half against Manchester City and Unai Emery needs to get him off at the break.
The right-back was a surprise inclusion in the Spaniard’s playing eleven against the Citizens at Villa Park on 21 December.
Despite going into the break with a 1-0 lead, it’s imperative Emery makes a change to avoid Pep Guardiola’s side from getting back into the game.

The Poland international is on a yellow card so he’s already a liability going into the second half of the game at Villa Park.
He made a very silly foul on Jack Grealish and he’s going to tease him into those challenges again in the next 45 minutes.
According to Sofascore, he won just two of his seven attempted ground duels – a success rate of just 28 per cent.

He’s also struggled to make himself available and get involved in the game, completing just eight passes all half.
The 27-year-old has also lost possession on two occasions and made two needless fouls – arguably both deserved bookings.

Cash has also been dribbled past once and now that he’s on a yellow, he will not even be at 100 per cent for the rest of the contest.
