The team sheets are out at Portman Road, where Newcastle United take on Ipswich in today’s 3pm kick-off.
Here’s the side Eddie How has gone with as we look to make it three-straight wins in all competitions:
**STARTING XI:** Dubravka – Livramento, Schar, Burn, Hall – Bruno, Tonali, Willock – Murphy, Isak, Gordon.
**SUBS:** Vlachodimos, Trippier, Barnes, Targett, Osula, Almiron, Kelly, Longstaff, Miley.
Joe Willock replaces the suspended Joelinton in midfield and that’s the only change, meaning the back four stays the same and Jacob Murphy keeps his place on the right of our front three.
Elsewhere, Nick Pope and Callum Wilson miss out once again through injury, with the game also coming too soon for Sven Botman, who is likely to appear for the U21s again before he returns at first-team level.
As for Ipswich, they too are without a key player through suspension, with top scorer Liam Delap missing out after picking up his fifth yellow card in their 2-1 win at Wolves last weekend.
**Ipswich XI:** Muric, Clarke, O’Shea, Burgess, Davis, Morsy, Cajuste, Burns, Szmodics, Hutchinson, Chaplin
**Subs:** Walton, Johnson, Townsend, Greaves, Phillips, Taylor, Al-Hamadi, Broadhead, J Clarke
A big chance to build one recent wins over Leicester and Brentford and league and cup, with all three points vital here to move us closer to those European positions.
Let’s hope we can take confidence from those victories over the past week and overcome an Ipswich side who are yet to win at home all season.
Howay the lads!
