There has been plenty of criticism of Kylian Mbappé since he made the move from Paris to Madrid in the summer. Much of it is justified, the Frenchman hasn’t been at the same level we had seen him reach for PSG and France.
Things now seem to be taking a turn for the better, as the striker now has five goal involvements (four goals and an assist) in his last five matches for _Los Blancos_.
This sentiment was shared by Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti, who spoke about the 26-year-old in his press conference before hosting Sevilla at the Bernabéu on Sunday.
As per [Cope](https://www.cope.es/programas/tiempo-de-juego/noticias/ancelotti-periodo-adaptacion-mbappe-terminado-20241221_3067211.html), Ancelotti said ‘_His settling-in period is over, he has now shown some good form. I think he can still improve, but he has done well in the last few games_.’
Real Madrid fans will be hoping that Mbappé has now turned a corner and that he will now be performing to the level expected of him when he made the move from his native France.
Plenty are still critical of Mbappé’s form since joining Real Madrid, so he will still have plenty of work to do to prove the doubters wrong.
