In what has been a turbulent start to the 2024/25 campaign for Everton, injuries have caused some major issues.
Sean Dyche’s side are not where the new owners will want them to be in the league, but the Everton manager has not had it easy on Merseyside.
The Friedkin Group’s arrival will provide fans with optimism for things to come off the field as the players are starting to show some improved form on it.
Armando Broja and Youssef Chermiti have returned from injuries with Everton returning to almost full strength.
And there has now been another injury boost for Dyche ahead of their game against Chelsea on Sunday.

James Garner returns to Everton training
Earlier in the season, James Garner was praised by Stephen Warnock for his display against Newcastle United.
But that was the midfielder’s last game in the Premier League after suffering a back injury which has proven to be a fairly long-term issue.
But one Everton insider has shared an update from training at Finch Farm with Garner back on the grass.

‘Everton midfielder James Garner has today [Saturday] stepped up his recovery from a back injury and has now started initial light training,’ he said.
The 23-year-old has been just one of the injured midfielders at Everton with Tim Iroegbunam also still out through injury.
But Garner’s return is a promising one during such a busy period on the calendar.
What Sean Dyche has said about Garner’s injury
Garner has been praised as ‘incredible’ by Ian Woan since making the move to Everton where he has made 66 appearances.
But with just two goals and three assists to his name in those games, there is clear room for improvement.
Although Garner has made a return to training, he will not be ready to feature in the matchday squad on Sunday against the Londoners.
Speaking to the media on Friday, Dyche admitted Garner is still adrift from a return to the side.
“Jimmy and Tim are still a bit behind the curve. They’re making progress, though, that’s good,” he said.
But that’s not going to be quick progress at this stage, but they are on the grass and just beginning to take soft steps back.”
Encouraging signs, despite a seeming number of weeks between Garner and a full return.
