Arsenal could have a surprise move for Chelsea player Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. Fourth-placed Chelsea go into tonight in full demand. Fresh off commanding wins in their Group stages. To end their campaign on a high against Shamrock Rovers and with a perfect record in the Conference League.
A win would ensure Chelsea join the visitors in the knockout rounds and afford the visitors a golden chance. With a win, they are into the top eight and guaranteed qualification for the round of 16. While a loss could see them making their way through play-offs.
Chelsea have already qualified for the next stage so manager Enzo Maresca could be forgiven for having one eye on the transfer window ahead of January. Here’s a look at some of the biggest transfer rumours surrounding the Blues:
Are being prepared by the report as ready to put Chelsea’s resolve to the test in January. The midfielder is also mentioned as a potential destination for Fulham, Tottenham and Manchester United.
Caught Offside claims that Arsenal have seen an interest in Chelsea midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall. The former Leicester City player hasn’t played much time for the Blues under Maresca. Arsenal, along with many other clubs.
According to TeamTalk, Ben Chilwell is on his way out of Chelsea in January with hopes of reigniting his career elsewhere. But Maresca has only played one match for him yet, having played just 45 minutes against Barrow. The report says there may be other potential buyers waiting to snap up the full-back and Manchester United seems uninterested.
🚨 Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is set to become available in January, with Arsenal leading the race to sign the midfielder.
However, he also has interest from Aston Villa, Brentford, Brighton , Fulham, Leicester, Man Utd, Newcastle, Rangers and Tottenham.

Arsenal to have a go at Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall?
Transfer rumours of a winter of change at Stamford Bridge have seen Chelsea head into tonight’s match with a dominant Conference League record. Given that the January window is imminent, manager Enzo Maresca may have some tough decisions to make about some of our players.
The second half of the season is the best time for clubs to fill their squads. Heading into a crucial time of the season. It remains to be seen whether Chelsea makes major changes or is more keen to try and resolve its problems internally.
But it seems there are rumours surrounding both Dewsbury-Hall and Chilwell about where they might end up. It is a chance for Chelsea to put the seal on their stranglehold on the Conference League group stage tonight against Shamrock Rovers.
A win guarantees them a place in the top eight and the knockout rounds. Such a result would be a good sign for Maresca’s side as they seek European glory.
But the window for January transfers looms over tonight’s game. Rumours abound that Chilwell and Dewsbury-Hall, for example, could be looking for a move elsewhere. Maresca will have to balance this with focusing on the remaining fixtures of the Conference League and Premier League.
Chelsea to reach later stages of Conference league
Chelsea faces a difficult balance to strike between potential Transfer targets and immediate on-field success in the coming weeks.
Dewsbury-Hall and Chilwell could be on the list of potential departures. Leaving Chelsea with some holes to fill in midfield and defence. Dewsbury-Hall’s paucity of usage has perhaps led the 22-year-old to consider a new club. Where he can make a real impact week in, and week out. Chilwell’s limited opportunities under Maresca could push him to the same destination.
If however, these players do leave, Chelsea will need to find adequate replacements. Transfer windows can be a tricky time to add players. But the Blues will be on the lookout for signed players who can offer added depth and quality to their options. It’s how they perform in those remaining fixtures. The strength of their transfer activity in January will shape the season.
Author’s Opinion
In my view, With the transfer talk still in full fury, Chelsea remains focused on the pitch for now. But it’s a crucial match against Shamrock Rovers, a game that could set their Conference League path. That will be a big win and will take a step towards the top of the table. A strong message to their rivals.
Whatever happens in January, Chilwell needs to leave Chelsea. The lack of game time is only damaging his career further and he does not deserve that. Whether it be a loan move or a permanent sale, the ex-Leicester City man needs to find a new club in January.
