The star in question is Alexander Isak. He has been a long term contract for Gunners. But, Newcastle United are very happy with the striker and are unwilling to sell him. But, they will find it very hard to keep hold of the striker.

This is proving very hard for Newcastle and hence the player was linked with away move. Later, there were reports about the player wanting to play regular Champions League football. It is hard to achieve at Newcastle who are on 7th position in league.
Gunners are keen to sign him but will have to break their club record. Their current record signing is Declan Rice who costed them £105 million last year. Isak will cost more than £115 million due to his form and demand.
Isak will be a very good addition for Arsenal. He has already proved himself in the top flight english league. The 25 year old will be an upgrade on all current Arsenal strikers. His quality will surely make it easier for Arteta to secure his first Premier League title.
