West Ham should be “ashamed” after the 1-1 draw with Brighton, Jack Rosser has said.
The Hammers salvaged a draw at the London Stadium on Saturday (21 December) as Mohammed Kudus headed home a rebound in the 58th minute.
The result does little to ease the pressure on manager Julen Lopetegui with the Irons sitting 14th in the Premier League, albeit with an eight-point buffer on the relegation zone.
The Sun journalist wrote on X: “West Ham and Brighton should be ashamed of themselves.
“That was dreadful.”
Good result for West Ham despite ‘ashamed’ claims
Despite Rosser’s criticism, the result was a good one for the Hammers on paper as Brighton sit five points above them in the table.

Lopetegui’s side are now unbeaten in three matches after the victory against Wolves (9 December) and draws with Bournemouth (16 December) and Fabian Hurzeler’s team.
The East Londoners are only six points away from a potential European qualification spot so the season can still be saved despite their poor start.

It must also be taken into context how circumstances have affected the club recently, Lopetegui’s father passed away on Tuesday disrupting the build-up to the contest.
They were arguably unlucky, Pervis Estupinian should have probably seen red for an out-of-control challenge on Max Kilman, according to ex-PGMOL chief Keith Hackett.
Overall, it is a good result and Lopetegui has shown in recent weeks that he has the potential to turn the Irons’ season around.
