All the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding Chelsea as they prepare to face Everton.

Chelsea are back in action on Sunday when they face Everton away from home in what will likely be their final trip to Goodison Park. The Blues are in the thick of the title race, and they will be hoping to pick up all three points to remain there.

The busy festive period could go a long way in defining the title race, and Enzo Maresca’s men will need to stay consistent despite the pile up of games. Here we round up all the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding Stamford Bridge.

Nkunku claim

Chelsea striker Christopher Nkunku has been linked with an exit ahead of January, and The Boot Room claim he wants a move in the winter window. Manchester United have been linked, and the report claims the forward is ready to call it a day at Stamford Bridge after struggling to displace Nicolas Jackson.

Nkunku has made 12 goals in 24 appearances so far, making 15 Premier League outings so far, though he has only started twice. Nkunku cost Chelsea £52million, and they would surely demand all of their money back as a minimum if they were to consider selling in January.

Keown on in-form Blues

Martin Keown has issued his verdict on Chelsea’s in-form players and their bid to win the Premier League. “It is still astonishing that City were ever willing to sell Cole Palmer because he has magical powers,” he wrote in the Daily Mail. “Out of possession, he is just as intelligent, knowing when to join Nicolas Jackson in pressing high up the pitch. Palmer is forever on the move, taking up new positions to receive the ball. In possession, he is special, with 11 goals, six assists and more chances created than any other player this season.

“His powers will be needed on Sunday, against an Everton team with six clean sheets in their last nine outings. But Chelsea will believe they have enough riches in attack to break down the Blues with a midfield that’s right on song. Enzo Fernandez is looking like the World Cup winner we’ve been waiting to see. His through balls have been perfectly measured for Jackson, who has learned how to finish. Maresca deserves credit for getting Jadon Sancho to enjoy his football again as he competes with Joao Felix on the left side. On the right, there’s a high-level tussle between Pedro Neto and Noni Madueke. Maresca has players fighting for their places in the team and, ultimately, to win the Premier League.”
