Blues defender Axel Disasi has no intention of leaving CHELSEA in the January transfer window, despite his diminished role under coach Enzo Maresca this season.
The 26-year-old centre-back joined the club from Monaco for around £35 million in 2023 but has struggled to make an impact. Disasi has been criticised for lacking spatial awareness and failing to read danger, and he has looked very dodgy in possession at times.
However – he has managed to break into the side under Enzo Maresca this season and has looked like a solid addition to that back-line, but it seems that he is still a player that Maresca is open to letting go when the January transfer window opens up in just a few weeks time.
The centre-back’s struggles have sparked reports of a possible January transfer, with RMC Sport reporting this week that Juventus and an unnamed Bundesliga side are interested in him, but BBC Sport says he is happy at Stamford Bridge and does not want to leave just yet.

Look, we dont not know where this rumour comes from, but we would be shocked to see Disasi get sold in the January window that is for sure, and we are also glad because he has been a very solid defender for the club.
I am glad that he would like to stay
