Chelsea made it eight wins in a row in the week with a 4-1 win over Shamrock Rovers in the Conference League, finishing the league phase campaign top of the tree with a 100% across their six games in the competition.
Enzo Maresca's will be looking to make it nine in a row on Merseyside on Sunday afternoon, looking to close the gap on Premier League leaders Liverpool in the process.
Five league wins in a row means that the Blues head into the weekend in second place in the table, just two points behind Liverpool at the top of the tree, albeit having played a game more.
The west London side have won each of their last five matches away from home in all competitions, and take on an Everton side at Goodison Park this weekend whom they beat 6-0 in their most recent meeting at the back end of last season.

Everton head into this weekend's tough test off the back of a promising point earned at the Emirates, taking a 0-0 draw back to Goodison Park against Chelsea's fellow title contenders, Arsenal.
Sean Dyche has led his side to clean sheets in four of Everton's last five matches, though six draws in their last 11 matches, including four 0-0s in their last nine, leaves them in a peculiar position of winning just one of their last seven matches but only losing one of their last five.
The Merseyside club are unbeaten in their last five matches at home in all competitions, without having lost on their home patch since mid-September, recording a thumping 4-0 win over Wolves in their last match in front of their home fans.
Despite their point at the Emirates last weekend, Ipswich's win over Wolves means the Toffees fell back to within touching distance of the relegation zone ahead of this weekend's action, sitting 16th and just three points above the Tractor Boys in 18th.
Despite their 6-0 thumping by the Blues in Everton's last meeting with Chelsea, the Toffees will take huge confidence in the knowledge that they have won five of their last six matches against Chelsea at Goodison Park.
