Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly keen on seeing his son, Davide Ancelotti, take the next step in his coaching career.
According to Defensa Central, Carlo has expressed his desire for Davide to join AS Roma, marking a significant move for the young coach as he begins his journey as a head coach.
Davide has become an essential part of the Real Madrid coaching staff, working closely with his father. Initially, he was responsible for overseeing set pieces, but this role has now been handed over to Francesco Mauri.
Nevertheless, Davide’s influence within the team has grown over time, as he is trusted to contribute to several important decisions made by his father, Carlo.
Real Madrid have kept doors open
The news of his potential move to AS Roma has shocked many Real Madrid supporters, but it is clear that the young Ancelotti is destined for bigger things.
Those at Real Madrid, including president Florentino Perez, have always spoken highly of him. His tactical knowledge and work ethic have earned him respect, and there’s a growing belief that he is ready to lead a team on his own.

Perez and other key figures at the club are supportive of Davide’s development as a coach. They would understand if he decides to pursue a managerial role elsewhere, even though it would be a significant loss for the club.
Real Madrid respect Davide
Real Madrid value Davide greatly, not only for his contributions on the training ground but also for his strong relationship with the players.
Many players in the squad speak highly of him, and his presence is felt in every training session, where he plays a crucial role in assisting his father.
Meanwhile, as Carlo Ancelotti approaches the final years of his career, his contract at Real Madrid runs until 2026.
While there’s potential for him to stay beyond that, it’s clear that his son is on the brink of becoming a head coach in his own right. This move, if it happens, would be a new chapter for both Davide and Real Madrid.
