Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has fired a title warning at Liverpool and Chelsea after his side's latest win against Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
The Gunners cruised to a 5-1 victory at Selhurst Park, taking the lead after just a matter of minutes through Gabriel Jesus. Ismalia Sarr put the hosts back on level terms soon after, but Arsenal scored a further four to put the result beyond doubt.
Arsenal sit third in the standings, just a single point behind Chelsea in second and three behind leaders Liverpool. However, both are in action on Sunday against Everton and Tottenham Hotspur respectively, which means they can restore the gap to third.

After Manchester City's latest defeat against Aston Villa this weekend, a three-horse race between Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea is emerging at the Premier League summit. Although the Gunners themselves appeared to be trailing too far behind in recent weeks, their latest victory has seemingly restored faith they can go the distance.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the win against Palace, Arteta warned: “We are not even halfway so we are going to try certainly. For us it’s on.”
However, Arsenal's win on Saturday didn't come without a setback as winger Bukayo Saka was forced off with an apparent hamstring injury in the first half. He was replaced by Leandro Troassard and was later pictured leaving Selhurst Park on crutches.
Liverpool themselves have navigated a tricky spell with injuries, but are now just without two key players in Ibrahima Konate and Conor Bradley. Arsenal return to action after Christmas on December 27 with the visit of Ipswich Town, which will be followed by a visit to Brentford on New Years day.
Arne Slot's side, on the other hand, will hope to emerge unscathed against Spurs on Sunday with the visit of Leicester City to come on Boxing Day. Liverpool will then travel to face West Ham on Saturday, December 29.
