Man Utd fans must not repeat their act against 'unstoppable' ace vs Bournemouth - view

Manchester United are set to host Bournemouth at Old Trafford in the Premier League today.

United manager Ruben Amorim has dropped Marcus Rashford from the squad for the past two matchdays.

Rashford admitted that he is ready for a new challenge elsewhere.

The United supporters expressed their displeasure by holding a banner against him during their 4-3 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.

The banner said “Excuses. Ta ra, Marcus“.

A similar banner was displayed for Sir Alex Ferguson during his third year of United stay in 1989.

Ultimately, Ferguson went on to become arguably the best manager in the history of football.

Rashford has spent almost two decades at United.

He rose through the ranks and became the face of the young supporters.

He has enjoyed a career that thousands dream of.

Unfortunately, his inconsistency and poor body language never allowed him to flourish.

Rashford has played over 400 games for the club and that is no easy achievement.

He has enjoyed plenty magical moments in this shirt.

One of them was beating Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League with a last-gasp penalty.

We believe United fans should not turn their back on their own player.

He may not have reached the peak everyone thought he will but he still has been a great asset for the Red Devils even in this tough decade.

The ‘unstoppable‘ forward must be treated fairly by the supporters.

It will be interesting to see if Rashford is named in the squad today.

Hopefully, the home crowd do not boo the England international if he is allowed some game time by Amorim.
