The Vitor Pereira era has commenced at Wolves, with change expected after Gary O’Neil’s dismissal.
Wolves parted ways with O’Neil after 16 months in charge, seeing the Englishman depart after the defeat to Ipswich Town.
Weeks before, Pereira was identified as a candidate to replace the former manager, seeing the Portuguese arrive on an 18-month contract.
Wolves midfielder Andre has already seen change from Pereira, in what is set to be a significant challenge for the boss over the festive period.

Steve Bull reacts to Vitor Pereira arrival
As Wolves prepare to take on Leicester City, new manager Pereira is prepping for his first taste of Premier League action.
While Pereira has faced Premier League managers over his career, the 56-year-old has yet to take charge of an English club.
Pereira becomes the eighth Portuguese manager of the Premier League era, following in the footsteps of former Wolves bosses Nuno Espirito Santo and Bruno Lage by joining the Old Gold.
Nuno reacted to Pereira’s arrival at Wolves by sharing some kind words in a press conference, with fans hoping that the new boss can have a similar impact.

Such opinion is shared by club legend Steve Bull, who outlined a similarity between the two Portuguese coaches.
“Nobody knew who Nuno Espirito Santo was when he arrived but look at the job he did, and I hope this will also be an inspired decision,” Bull said via his Express and Star column.
The Wolves icon then went on to share the hopes he has for Pereira and how the club must support the manager.
“I hope they look after Pereira in January and give him the money that Gary O’Neil never had, in order to strengthen the side.
“There is plenty to fix and he needs to pick up the pieces, which is not an easy job.”
Nuno Espirito Santo’s first five league results for Wolves
Nuno left Wolves as a legend and is now flourishing in England once more with Nottingham Forest.
Given the highs that the Portuguese’s first few seasons at Molineux produced, there will be hope that Pereira can deliver similar results in what is a difficult time for the club.
As Wolves sit 19th in the table, there is some pressure on Pereira to achieve results early into his tenure, something that Nuno managed to do when he took over the Old Gold in the Championship.
Opponent Score Result
Middlesbrough 1-0 W
Derby 0-2 W
Hull City 2-3 W
Cardiff 1-2 L
Brentford 0-0 D
The now Forest boss won three of his opening five league games in charge at Wolves, winning the first three and then losing and drawing.
Back then, Nuno led his side to win the Championship, whereas Pereira takes over a squad lacking inspiration and in the thick of a relegation battle.
All will become clear over the festive period, with change something that is accepted by all in the West Midlands.
