Danny Ward starts in goal for Leicester City against Wolves with neither Mads Hermansen nor Jakub Stolarczyk in the squad.
City had been hoping that Hermansen would recover from a groin injury in time to start in the crunch relegation clash but he is missing from the squad. Ward starts a Premier League game for the first time since March 2023, with Daniel Iversen on the bench.
There are two further changes to the City line-up. In midfield, Boubakary Soumare comes in for Hamza Choudhury, but Oliver Skipp keeps his spot, with Harry Winks only on the bench as he returns from injury.
In attack, Jordan Ayew makes his first start under Ruud van Nistelrooy. Kasey McAteer drops out, with the homegrown winger not even on the bench. It means Facundo Buonanotte remains among the subs, with Bilal El Khannouss and Stephy Mavididi supporting Jamie Vardy.
Once again, it’s the same back four for. Wout Faes, Caleb Okoli and Luke Thomas are all among the substitutes.
