Ange Postecoglou has decided to start Tottenham defender Djed Spence ahead of Destiny Udogie against Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday.

Spurs will be looking to make it three wins on the bounce against Arne Slot’s side at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on 22 December, with Spence keeping his place after his impressive recent form, which has seen him tipped to receive an England call-up.

Despite Postecoglou revealing that Udogie looked set to return, and the Italian clearly fit enough to play as he is named on the bench, the Spurs boss has stuck by Spence in a decision confirmed via the club’s official X account [22 December].
