Tosin Adarabioyo was in the thick of the action at Goodison Park
Chelsea's Tosin Adarabioyo admitted they were up against one of the best defensive sides after they failed to find a way past Everton.
The Blues had to leave Merseyside with a share of the spoils as they were held to a goalless draw at Goodison Park, which meant they failed to make up ground on Liverpool. Chelsea remain behind the Reds despite playing more games.
The Premier League title hopefuls had won five on the bounce before heading to Everton as they emerge as surprise contenders for the title. Enzo Maresca has been getting the most from his inflated squad, which he has trimmed down.
Adarabioyo has found himself at the heart of defence and admitted they had to deal with a host of challenges during their game at the Toffees - including mother nature.

He told Premier League Productions: "It was very difficult. Everton are one of the best teams at keeping clean sheets and we are one of the best at scoring. The first half was very difficult with the weather but we showed fighting spirit. We are having a good run and are full of confidence. We will keep on pushing."
That opinion was reiterated by Maresca, who was content with his team's efforts and claimed he was happier with their point at Everton than he was with the win over Brentford last weekend.
"That was a real game," said the Italian. "I am very happy because the performance of the boys was fantastic. Sometimes you have to play a different game and we are learning to play a different game. They are one of the best teams in Europe in terms of clean sheets."

Chelsea had a mammoth 75 percent of the ball and made more that treble the amount of passes than their opponents. They were still unable to find a way through however despie having the likes of Cole Palmer, Pedro Neto and Nicolas Jackson on the pitch.
Everton boss Sean Dyche said: "I said before game Enzo Maresca has done a fine job and they have certainly shown the power they have got. We could have nicked it. It was two teams going at it in the right way. You have to be willing to put a shift in and I think that was on show today."
