Arsenal and Chelsea continue to chase Liverpool in the Premier League title race.
Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher sent a message of fighting talk to Premier League title chasers Arsenal and Chelsea on behalf of his former side following the Reds' 6-3 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday evening.
Arne Slot's men are now four points clear at the top of the table with a game in hand on second-place Chelsea and third-place Arsenal. Liverpool have lost just one match this term and are early frontrunners to lift the trophy.
It was a purring performance against Spurs as Liverpool scored six through four different scorers. Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz bagged a brace each with Alexis MacAllister and Dominik Szoboszlai also on the scoresheet.
Analysing the match on Sky Sports after full time, Carragher admitted that there is still room for improvement in this Reds side in a way that will frighten clubs like Chelsea and Arsenal. The former defender said: "I felt that coming today, it felt like a really big game.

"Going back to the last time Liverpool won the league and around this time of year they went to Leicester and won 4-0 and it felt really significant. I do think there will be a frustration in that dressing room when they get in that this score isn't 6 or 7-1, and it's 6-3 - and that might actually be a good thing.
"They've got a great result, they are top of the table, but they can't let that happen again. At one stage, we're all sat here thinking, if Tottenham score again it goes 5-1. I thought Liverpool were outstanding and if you're watching as Chelsea or Arsenal you're thinking, oh, these will take some stopping."
There was similar praise from former Spurs star Jamie Redknapp, who went so far as to say the current Liverpool side could pose more of a threat than the former Premier League winners under Jurgen Klopp.
Liverpool captained by ‘imperious’ Virgil Van Dijk
Redknapp said: "They were so good. A lot of class and energy in their team. Jurgen Klopp was absolutely incredible but the way they play now looks almost more enjoyable.
"They have a lovely ability in midfield with Gravenberch to get on that ball and make them play. It's been fantastic. They've got a leader of men there [Van Dijk] who is just imperious, he's as good as anything we've seen in the Premier League. What a footballer Virgil Van Dijk is, he gives them so much calmness."
Liverpool face a favourable pair of fixtures before the end of the calendar year with the visit of Leicester City before a trip to West Ham. For Chelsea, it's Fulham and Ipswich Town while Arsenal take on Ipswich Town and Brentford.
