Mohamed Salah admitted Liverpool weren't happy with conceding three goals at Tottenham despite emerging victorious 6-3 in a chaotic game in north London. The Egyptian scored twice and set up two goals for Luis Diaz, with Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis Mac Allister adding to the scoreline.
But Spurs played their part, scoring through James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski and Dominic Solanke.
And Salah, whose comments reflected the high standards set in Liverpool's dressing room, immediately pointed to the goals conceded as a source of frustration in a post-match interview with Sky Sports.

He said: "We were great up front but I think defensively we need to improve as a team. Conceding three goals is quite hard. But it's a good result.
"We expected the way they play. They open the game and as you can see the game is really tough. We have to be always in the game so I'm glad we managed to win.
He added: "They have a way they play and they don't change it much. It's intense and we've seen City come here and struggle. Some other teams have come and struggled, so I'm glad we managed to win the game because they play a very intense game."
Salah became the first player in Premier League history to reach double figures in goals and assists before the halfway point of the season.
And the 32-year-old, who said there was no update on his contract situation, also overtook Billy Liddell to become Liverpool's fourth highest ever goalscorer with 229 strikes for the club.
Asked about his records and if he can catch Ian Rush on 346 goals should he stay at the club, Salah said: "I didn't think about it before the game but I'm glad I've done it. It's something that makes me happy and proud.
"It's something great to achieve at a club like Liverpool but the most important thing is we won the game. I don't know how he (Rush) scored that many goals.. I think back then football was seven against seven! He's a great legend and a good contact, whatever I end my career with I'm happy."
