Wolves fans received an early Christmas gift on Sunday afternoon as Vitor Pereira guided the Old Gold to a 3-0 victory over Leicester in his first game in charge.
Despite only being appointed Wolves manager on Thursday, Pereira got off to a flying start.
Goals from Goncalo Guedes, Rodrigo Gomes and Matheus Cunha ensured the club picked up all three points at the King Power Stadium in a vital match at the bottom of the table.
Premier League survival now looks far more promising as the Old Gold closed the gap on the Foxes to just two points as they prepare to face Man United on Boxing Day.
The supporters were quick to show their delight to Pereira after he oversaw the masterful performance which pleased the manager.

In the last months of the Gary O’Neil era, it was clear that he lost the connection he once had with the fanbase.
While the sacking did feel inevitable, the lack of support and the hostility of the crowd towards the former manager did not help achieve results.
Now Pereira is here, fans need to ensure they keep the same level of support that was on show against Leicester.
In the battle for survival, there will be plenty of ups and downs over the coming months. However, if Molineux can be established as a fortress once more, it will give the Old Gold the edge over their counterparts.
