Everton kicked off The Friedkin Group era with a valuable point against Chelsea on Sunday afternoon.
The Toffees are now unbeaten in three and look as though they’ve turned a corner just at the crucial stage of the season, with games coming thick and fast.
Many thought this period would be costly for Everton as they navigate their way through perhaps the trickiest run of fixtures in the Premier League.
But so far, they’re handling it really well and just need to find some quality at the top end of the pitch to turn draws into wins.
They could’ve beat Chelsea had Jack Harrison not missed a great chance but that’s where they’re falling short at the moment.
Everton fans were highly critical of Harrison‘s performance and many are keen for him to return to Leeds in January.
He may well be dropped for the trip to Manchester City this weekend and Sean Dyche also has a decision to make at full-back.

Ashley Young suspended and picks up injury ahead of Man City clash
Ashley Young picked up his fifth booking of the season against Chelsea so he’ll have to serve a one-game suspension.

That rules him out of the Manchester City clash on Boxing Day but he could also miss further action as Dyche explained that he suffered a neck injury.
“Youngy is suspended anyway but he ripped his neck then he did a brilliant header at the far stick,” the Everton boss said.
“We had to take him off for both reasons – to make sure he was OK physically and was on a yellow card.”
Seamus Coleman set to make first start since August
Seamus Coleman replaced Ashley Young just after half-time in a clear indication that he’ll get the nod over Nathan Patterson on Thursday.
Coleman has been sidelined with a foot injury for most of the season and hasn’t started a game since August.
So it’s certainly a big ask for him to make his full return against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, although, this is perhaps the best time to play them.
City have lost nine out of their last 12 games after being handed a 2-1 defeat by Aston Villa on the weekend.
Everton will certainly be feeling optimistic about a positive result.
