The brother of Barcelona star Dani Olmo has on Sunday evening turned heads online.
This comes owing to a post on Instagram, in which he aimed a blatant jibe at Real Madrid winger Vinícius Jr.
The post in question relates to the Brazilian missing out on the 2024 Ballon d’Or, to Manchester City midfielder Rodri.
Making clear his feeling that this outcome proved the best one for football as a whole, Carlos Olmo unveiled a video, highlighting a whole host of fouls, complaints, and general poor sportsmanship on the part of Vinícius.
The footage in question was accompanied by the caption:
‘Rodri really saved football’

It now remains to be seen whether as much culminates in any kind of online fallout, with Real Madrid’s players and supporters alike having long been quick to hit back at what they evidently feel is unwarranted criticism of the club’s star attacker.
