Nottingham Forest are going great in the Premier League right now and it’s proved a real positive start to the 2024/25 campaign.
The Reds have 31 points from 17 matches and with over half the season left to play, it looks like any threat of relegation has been averted.
Forest sit fourth in the Premier League table and that really is dizzy heights for a team that many had written off this season.
Attention will soon turn towards the transfer window and Forest will hope to do some business in order to maintain the lofty league position.
Although most of the attention will be on players coming into the club, it would seem as though some of the surplus might be allowed to depart when the window opens next month too.

Leeds United eye move for Nottingham Forest star
The Whites are flying high in the Championship right now and look set to win promotion back to the Premier League this season.
Daniel Farke is keen to leave no stone unturned, however, and has identified Andrew Omobamidele as a possible target, according to The Telegraph.
MORE FOREST STORIES
The man signed from Norwich for £11 million hasn’t played a single Premier League minute this season and is currently the fifth-choice central defender.
Omobamidele was wanted by Leeds in the summer window but Forest chose to keep hold of him as Nuno Espirito Santo sussed out his strongest squad of players.
Now, with Nikola Milenkovic, Murillo, Morato and Willy Boly all ahead of him, it would appear that Forest are happy for him to depart.
Leeds move would be perfect for Omobamidele
The key here is regular game time and playing regular football for a team at the top end of the Championship would definitely benefit the centre-back.
He will be desperately disappointed to not be featuring this season and heading out in January will be something he’s keen to do.
Omobamidele was called ‘outstanding’ by Paul McGrath as a teenager and the potential is definitely there for all to see.
He netted on his debut last season in the FA Cup at Blackpool and he was given a run of games in the Forest team as a result.
This season, however, Forest simply have better options and that isn’t a reflection on the quality that Omobamidele possesses.
