Barcelona are reportedly feeling a little unsure about Robert Lewandowski’s future after seeing the striker fire blanks in his last three games.

The Catalans are said to be “worried” about his patch of form because they have no direct replacement and also because his contract is set to automatically renew this season if he plays a certain percentage of games.
Diario Sport are reporting there is a little “debate” at Barca over Lewandowski, as some at the club think it would be best to wave goodbye to the Pole at the end of the season and splash out on a top class replacement.
Meanwhile, others think his contract should be respected and also know it may be difficult to invest in a world class addition due to the club’s ongoing financial difficulties.

The striker turned 36 in the summer but has insisted he can still play at the highest level for a few more years.
