For the first time in almost a year, Wolves won by three goals and kept a clean sheet in the Premier League, telling of the boss’ instant impact.
Pereira was amazed by the reception he received from Wolves fans, who showed admiration for their new manager from kick-off.
From the away end to supporters far and wide, Pereira impressed on his first outing since taking the reins from Gary O’Neil, with supporters still applauding the coach in Saudi Arabia.
It wasn’t from Al-Shabab that the Portuguese received warm wishes after his first game, as a familiar face celebrated Wolves’ victory.
