Brighton player ‘not satisfied’ with Hurzeler decision – Considers leaving Seagulls in January, club ready to pounce

RC Lens are in the picture to sign Brighton & Hove Albion’s Simon Adingra in the winter market.

That’s what Jeunes Footeux are reporting, and they state Brighton player could be an ‘ideal’ player for the Ligue 1 side.

Lens manager Will Still has requested an attacker in January after serious injuries to both Martín Satriano and Rémy Labeau Lascary.

They have to offload some players before making new additions to their squad, but that hasn’t stopped general manager, Pierre Dreossi, and sporting director, Diego J. Lopez, from searching for an attacker.

There’s belief Adingra could be an ideal for the French club, probably because of the 22-year-old’s situation at Brighton. The forward was a regular for the Seagulls last season, making 40 appearances in all competitions last season.

Fabian Hurzeler arrived at The Amex in the summer and hasn’t relied upon the Ivory Coast international regularly this season. He scored three goals in three EFL Cup games but that hasn’t helped him feature regularly in the league.

Adingra has been limited to 346 minutes from 11 league games and is ‘not satisfied’ with this. Therefore, the report states he’s considering leaving Brighton in January and it’s not clear whether they are willing to let him go.

The report makes it clear they are only looking at the possibility of a loan deal.
