Arsenal end 2024 with a Premier League clash against Ipswich Town, aiming to sustain their unbeaten run at the Emirates Stadium.
Currently sitting third in the table behind Liverpool and Chelsea, the Gunners will look to put together a winning run to keep up pace and possibly catch up to their rivals.
After a narrow 1-0 loss to Inter Milan in the Champions League on November 6, Mikel Arteta and his men have been a force to be reckoned with since then. They are unbeaten in 10 games since that match, securing seven wins and three draws. Their streak includes notable victories over Manchester United, AS Monaco, and Crystal Palace in the EFL Cup as they look to build on their momentum.

They face a struggling Ipswich next up, currently mired in poor form with four losses in their last five games, have become early relegation candidates alongside Southampton. They have only scored three goals in their last five matches and seem to be struggling for momentum, and will make the tough trip to face the Gunners on their home patch.
On that note, let’s take a look at how the north Londoners could line up.

David Raya, Arsenal’s consistent starter this season, is expected to guard the posts once again. In front of him, Jurrien Timber will be the right back, William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes will be the central pairing, while Riccardo Calafiori could return to the lineup.
The Italian came off the bench in the last match and provided an assist. He also seemed to be on the receiving end of a hard tackle but walked it off and should be fit for the next one.

Skipper Martin Odegaard is likely to anchor the midfield with Declan Rice and Kai Havertz. Gabriel Martinelli will start on the right wing as he did after Bukayo Saka went off injured in the last game. Gabriel Jesus will start up front, while Leandro Trossard will play on the left.
Arsenal Predicted XI vs Ipswich: Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori; Odegaard (C), Rice, Havertz; Martinelli, Jesus, Trossard.
