Shay Given has slammed Everton star Jordan Pickford after an incident in the 0-0 draw with Chelsea on Sunday.
The England number one rushed off his line to shut down a chance for Malo Gusto in the 31st minute at Goodison Park, going in studs first (22 December).
He got a slight touch on the ball and also went through the right-back but was not penalised by referee Chris Kavanagh or VAR.
Speaking on Match of the Day 2, Given said: “This is probably the biggest moment of the game, this is a real rush of blood to the head from Jordan.
“He actually gets really lucky here. I think this is really quite dangerous, I think when he goes with his feet like that he is endangering the opposition.

“I think VAR should have a look at that.”
Jordan Pickford in fresh Everton controversy
Sean Dyche’s side have the most clean sheet in Europe’s top five leagues since 1 October with seven, as they continue to frustrate the big boys.
Therefore, the 30-year-old is a key asset for the Blues and this was the case again on Sunday against Enzo Maresca’s side.
Pickford made four saves in the contest to extend his record to five clean sheets in the last six league matches.

It isn’t the first time that Pickford has been questioned for his aggressive nature, and everyone will remember that tackle on Virgil van Dijk all those years ago.
With the Friedkin Group looking to improve the squad in the January transfer window after completing their takeover, the goalkeeper is one position that they do not need to strengthen.
If the Toffees are to avoid being dragged into a brutal relegation battle, it will largely be a result of Pickford’s heroics.
His status as the Three Lions number one is very comfortable at the moment.
In other Everton news, the Blues have been linked with a move for a West Brom ace in January.
