Nico Williams has been one of the best young players in the world recently. He came into attention after superb Euro 2024 campaign. He was being linked with many top clubs in summer but the deal never happened.
Arsenal and Barcelona were the two clubs who were keen to sign Williams. But, none of them were able to convince the winger which resulted in him staying with Athletic Club. Now, Barca are said to have dropped Williams from wishlist but Gunners are still keen to sign him.

Williams will be a very good addition to North London club. He will be an upgrade on Martinelli, Trossard and Sterling and can start on left wing. Arsenal fans would love to see this deal happening but now have a bad news coming their way.
According to Eldesmarque, PSG are ready to trigger the €58 million release clause in the Spaniard’s current contract. The French giants are also keen to improve their left wing. They have recently lost their main superstar Kylian Mbappe this summer on a free transfer.
Lastly, Manchester United have also shown interest in Nico Williams recently. The Red Devils are set to lose Marcus Rashford in January. The 27 year old has missed many games recently due to being dropped by new manager Ruben Amorim.
Along with Rashford, some other United players may also leave next year. Many of the current attackers like Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund have been unable to impact the game regularly. Nico Williams will surely be an upgrade on most of current United stars.
