Leny Yoro has "no regrets" about making the move to Manchester United.

The 19-year-old centre-back joined United for £52.2million plus add-ons in the summer but has made just five appearances after suffering a broken foot in pre-season. Yoro sustained the issue against Arsenal in the United States and subsequently missed the first 21 games of the campaign.

Yoro made his long-awaited return to fitness during United's 2-0 defeat at Arsenal at the start of December, coming on as a second-half substitute. The Frenchman has since started two matches, including Thursday's 4-3 loss at Tottenham and played 45 minutes against Bournemouth on Sunday.

Now, Yoro has opened up about his summer move to United and doesn't regret the switch despite his difficult start and his club's struggles on the pitch. Ruben Amorim's side sit 13th in the Premier League table, nine points behind fourth-place Nottingham Forest and a mammoth 17 adrift of leaders Liverpool.

"No regrets about joining Manchester United," Yoro told Telefoot in France. "In my head, I'd set my sights on playing abroad because that's something I've always been attracted to, especially the Premier League. It's every footballer's dream."

Yoro added that he held talks with Raphael Varane, who left United in the summer after three years at the club, over moving to Old Trafford in the summer. He continued: "I spoke to Varane, who gave me a lot of advice, whether in sport, in life or in this choice. And he had a lot to say."

After making his first appearance in a United shirt earlier this month, Amorim heaped praise on Yoro. "Of course, Leny Yoro, you can feel the talent," Amorim told talkSPORT. "The speed, the way he handled one against one, in a very difficult stadium. [After] a lot of time without playing, you can see the quality."

United are going through a difficult patch at the moment, having lost three of their last four Premier League matches. They have been beaten by Arsenal, Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth in that period, having beaten Manchester City at the Etihad last weekend.
