Mega Aston Villa transfer deal given emphatic 'no thanks' response

Monchi and Damian Vidagany were working around the clock throughout the summer window in a bid to improve Unai Emery's squad

Deal or no deal? Monchi and Damian Vidagany are the Villa transfer gurus

Paris Saint-Germain are targeting Aston Villa powerhouse Jhon Duran, according to a report in Spain.

In fact website Fichajes even claims Villa and PSG are ‘negotiating’ what seems a highly unlikely swap deal for Duran – one of the hottest names in the Premier League – for French forward Randal Kolo Muani.

Last summer the 26-year-old joined PSG for an initial hefty fee of €80 million after a standout season with German side Eintracht Frankfurt but could only manage nine goals and six assists in 40 games across his first season. He has produced just two goals and one assist so far this campaign and has not been included in the previous two Ligue 1 matches.

William Steventon : Duran is going no where not even a £100m we don't need to sell him.cost that to replace him.

Mac78 : Okay, so we swap a young, highly rated, already experienced and very much in form EPL striker for an unproven £80m flop who can't cut it in one of Europe's weakest leagues for a team worth £100m's more than their nearest rival? Sounds like a great deal.....for PSG and only PSG, this 'offer' best get the response it deserves
