After adding Dani Olmo and Pau Victor to their squad in the last summer transfer window, FC Barcelona are still looking to further strengthen their forward line next summer, and are looking to add a left-winger as a priority signing.
For this purpose, they have already been linked with the likes of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Marcus Rashford, Luis Diaz, and Rafael Leao.
Now, according to SPORT, another winger that has been offered to Barcelona is the Chelsea forward Christopher Nkunku. The Frenchman is not currently a start at Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea side and is looking for a change of scenery to recover the form that he showed with RB Leipzig, which made him one of the most in-demand wingers in Europe.
His agent, Pini Zahavi, who also represents Hansi Flick and Robert Lewandowski, recommended his name to Barcelona. The player himself is also keen on a move to the Blaugrana club and would accept a salary cut if necessary.
However, Barcelona are not considering a move for him in January, mainly because of their salary problems. Still, they understand that Nkunku is a player who can fit well in Hansi Flick’s schemes and can consider his incorporation if he can arrive on loan, without any major investment.
Meanwhile, Chelsea will be willing to part ways with him, as he is not a starter for Maresca, despite having overcome the physical and adaptation problems that he faced in his first season at the London club. In addition to Barcelona, Napoli are also interested in the €50.00 million-rated player.
