Real Madrid star Federico Valverde has admitted that he and his teammates having been left ‘missing’ a recent departure from the club’s squad.
The player in question? Joeslu.
Frontman Joselu of course brought his 2nd stint on the books of Real to a close this past summer, making the move to the Qatar Stars League with Al Gharafa.
As much came after a season which saw the 34-year-old conjure up a whole host of memorable moments in front of goal, en route to a domestic and European double for Los Blancos.
In turn, it should not come as a major surprise to hear that Joselu’s presence is one which is missed by those in the dressing room in the Spanish capital.
After the striker was a guest commentator for DAZN during Real Madrid’s La Liga meeting with Sevilla on Sunday, Joselu’s name was put to Federico Valverde post-match.
And the Uruguayan was not shy in admitting in his response that:
“We miss Joselu in the locker room.”
