AC Milan reportedly want £25million for England international Fikayo Tomori this winter.
The former Chelsea defender has seen little game time since a rift with Milan boss Paolo Fonseca in October. A 2-1 defeat to Fiorentina resulted in the Serie A giants missing two penalties, with Theo Hernandez and Tammy Abraham fluffing their lines.
However, another ex-Chelsea man, Christian Pulisic, was snubbed despite being the designated penalty taker. This is believed to have infuriated Fonseca, whose relationship with Tomori, who gave the ball to Abraham for the second spot-kick, has remained frosty.
The 27-year-old has played just 13 minutes in the league since that incident and, according to Italian sources, will be allowed to leave next month. Newcastle United are one club closely linked with a potential move in January.
The Magpies chased - and failed to sign - Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi in the summer. Eagles chief Steve Parish is understood to have demanded around £70million following his England heroics at Euro 2024.

Tomori would offer a cheaper alternative, with Italian outlets claiming Milan have set a £25million price tag on their asset. Given his experience at Champions League and international level, Newcastle may view that as value for money.
But they may face competition from another team in black-and-white stripes. Juventus are also considering an approach to shore up their defensive options.
