Everton’s impressive Premier League form continued on Sunday when they played out a goalless draw against Chelsea. The Blues have now picked up five points from their last three league games.
However, the draw against Enzo Maresca’s side came just days after the Friedkin Group completed its takeover of the club. The Texas-based group is led by chairman Dan Friedkin and also owns Italian Serie A club Roma.
The club's new executive chairman, Marc Watts, was present to watch the action on Sunday, and Blues supporters, commenting on the Liverpool ECHO site, have had their say on what unfolded at Goodison.

Fibonacci remarked: “Branthwaite was excellent, Mangala is improving every game. We had the better chances and should have won. This bunch of players has grit, I didn’t think we’d keep three clean sheets in three games and draw with two out of the top four. Who knows? The way City are playing, Boxing Day may be a treat.”
Optimum said: “Good displays all round the field, but for me Mangala is making the difference. He always wants the ball, keeps it, knows what to do before he gets it, delivers a telling pass and can produce a great shot on target. The icing on the cake is that he looks comfortable, confident and consistent.”
Skinnygenes commented: "No one expected us to get any points against Arsenal and Chelsea so it’s 2 points gained. Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, and City are a cruel fixture list.”
