Liverpool are one of several Premier League clubs who are monitoring the situation of Arsenal defender Ayden Heaven.
The Gunners youngster has reportedly turned down an offer from the Gunners to sign a new contract and TBRFootball say that the Reds are among the teams showing “active interest” in the 18-year-old.
Heaven has already made his first-team debut, having come on as a substitute against Preston North End in the Carabao Cup back in October.

The teenager played the final 10 minutes of the game at Deepdale, helping Mikel Arteta’s side secure a 3-0 win.

Heaven actually came through West Ham’s academy before joining Arsenal on a free transfer in November 2019. The centre-back has subsequently moved up the youth ranks at Hale End over the past 5 years.
He has faced senior opponents before this season, having made appearances for the Under 21s in the EFL Trophy against both Exeter City and Reading last year.
Heaven clearly made an impression on Arteta, who took him on the pre-season tour of the United States before handing him his first minutes in the senior team against Preston.

TBRFootball claim that the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Newcastle are also keeping close tabs on the defender.
As Heaven has not signed on to professional terms with Arsenal, he is free to discuss a move to other teams, although the Gunners will be due a certain amount of compensation if he does decide to leave.
At the moment, it is believed that the London club are still hopeful that he will put pen to paper on a new deal but the fact that the last offer was not accepted when it was tabled back in September suggests that the player is open to other proposals.
