Wolves ran out 3-0 winners against Leicester City – and Andy Thompson has lavished praise one someone not too many people have been talking about in the aftermath of the game.
Vitor Pereira got his reign off to a winning start at the King Power Stadium, and the performance was much improved compared to recent weeks.
Pereira watched his side score three first-half goals, and then manage the game brilliantly in the second-half.
Leicester were admittedly really poor. But Wolves still looked impressive, and it was a performance supporters welcomed after the past few weeks.
Goncalo Guedes starred in the win for Wolves, scoring and assisting. And there was another top performance from Matheus Cunha, who scored his ninth goal of the season.
But for Andy Thompson it was Andre was stole the show.

With Mario Lemina ruled out against Leicester due to injury, Pereira’s first midfield consisted of Andre and Joao Gomes as a pairing.
And the pair enjoyed a fantastic showing in the engine room together, and just didn’t allow their Leicester counterparts to get a foothold all afternoon.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
Andre has had a tricky time over the past couple of months. After a bright start, he faded a bit under O’Neil, who seemingly felt the Brazilian wasn’t quite doing what he was asking.
Since Pereira was appointed, Andre has admitted it’s nice to have a Portuguese-speaking coach in Pereira, and on Sunday he knew exactly what he was doing.
Thompson loved his performance, saying on Matchday Live Extra: “Man of the match? Andre for me. I thought Andre played exceptional today. I don’t think he put a foot wrong in there.
“I thought him and Gomes were great in there as a double-act.
“I just think he looks so comfortable. He didn’t get fazed about anything.
“What I like about him, is he just keeps the game ticking over. Gets the ball and passes it. He always looks like he’s got plenty of time. But he just keeps that ball moving. But also as well, his defensive capacity, getting back and getting touches to it, putting pressure on them.
“There’s no doubt about it, he’s a very good player.”
Andre is a class-act who could thrive under Pereira
Andre was brilliant against Leicester and it was a performance that was rather a reminder of just what a seriously good player Wolves have on their hands.
It was questionable whether he was a player Wolves actually needed when the club bought him for £21 million.
But now that he’s here, he’s someone who should be playing regularly for Wolves.
And one gets the feeling that he could now achieve regular starter status under Pereira, who could be much better for him personally than O’Neil.
He was in cruise control for a lot of Sunday’s game with Leicester, and that is something Wolves fans will open to see much more of from the Brazilian.
