Arsenal star Bukayo Saka could undergo an operation today, sparking concerns that he may be sidelined for several weeks or months, per Arsenal Fanatic News on their Patreon.
The 23-year-old was forced off in the Gunner’s 5-1 victory against Crystal Palace, and he was seen on crutches as he left Selhurst Park. The winger has been a pivotal player for the Reds with 22 goal contributions in 24 games.
Manager Mikel Arteta also accepted that the player’s injury doesn’t look good and the club will do everything possible to help him. Reports suggest that the attacker has probably torn his hamstring, which is a huge problem.

Arteta will decide today whether Saka will undergo an operation or they may decide to let him heal without any intervention. If the club decides to do the operation now, then the winger will be out for at least three months.
But if they decide against an operation, then the academy graduate could be out for just six weeks. Having him back quickly is beneficial, but surgery can prevent a relapse of the injury later on.

Since the English star is young, there are chances that the injury might happen again. The manager has a tough task in his hands, and he needs to make a wise decision based on the condition of the player.

They also have an EFL Cup semi-final game against Newcastle United, followed by an FA third round clash vs. Manchester United. Saka has been a creative force at the top end of the pitch, and his absence will be felt.
The fans will have their fingers crossed as the club makes a suitable treatment plan for the young attacker.
